Casa Maceo
A 10-unit, 100% affordable rental community on East Columbus Drive, where East Tampa meets Ybor City. Pittman Design Group redeveloped a vacant lot with a $3 million grant awarded in 2023 through the City of Tampa and the state SHIP program. Six homes serve households at 50% of area median income and below and four at 80% and below, with a 30-year affordability period. Each family-sized home has luxury vinyl plank floors, stainless steel appliances and quartz countertops. The name honors Antonio Maceo, the Afro-Cuban general who fought for Cuban independence.
